Hong Kong based Wayne Clack and a few of his friends stayed with us in March 2006, at the end of a truly epic season. The groups enthusiasm was contagious with them hiting the slopes hard every day, in fact one day they hit the slopes a little too hard, with Wayne ending up with a severely dislocated finger (see left). Our staff assisted Wayne with medical treatment he was back on the slopes within no time. That’s dedication to the sport.

"Niseko is like a winter wonderland. There is so much snow it is unbelievable. Niseko Fresh Powder was the idyllic setting for our holiday. The apartments have new facilities, they are in an excellent location and the manager was wonderful. After a day on the slopes we enjoyed nothing more than sharing a few beers with friends in the onsen before heading back to the apartments to sip red wine over dinner, eat the wonderful Hokkaido strawberries for desert and watch the snow fall out the windows with friends. I loved the place so much I thought it was the ideal time to propose to my beautiful wife!"

"We have stayed at Fresh Powder Apartments for the last two years (and the first two of the apartment's operation). The apartments are spacious, modern and well designed and our family has thoroughly enjoyed our stays. Central heating system is very sophisticated and keeps you nice and warm. It is just a short walk to the lifts and the restaurants in Niseko are excellent and good value. There never seems to be a problem with lift queues. James our youngest son likes to use the apartment's toboggans whilst the rest of us go off skiing. Thoroughly recommended."

"Immediately upon arrival we were blown away with the layout of the apartment and the luxurious amenaties. We felt that we could spend the whole week just lounging in the apartment. Rika was extremely helpful and picked us up from the pension and assisted moving our things into our apartment. The apartment itself was an absolute joy to stay in and very comfortable to come home to after a hard day on the slopes. Waking up and looking straight up at Yotei was an awesome sight in the mornings. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Fresh Powder."

"What a great place for a skiing holiday! One family grew to two families which quickly went to four families. With very reliable snow and excellent accommodation we don't need to go anywhere else to ski for a while. Heading back in 2007 (and in fact the Hamilton’s visited Furano in 2008) for our third trip and I'm sure there'll be plenty more after that. Ahhh, we should have bought but must have been too comfortable in the apartments!!"

Our very first guests in Niseko were Paul and Sue Obrien in early December 2004 and we could not have asked for a nicer couple. Paul, a university lecturer from Queensland and his wife Sue were out on the mountain enjoying the early season snow or sampling the wonderful cuisine in Hirafu every day. We knew the apartments were going to be a success after Paul and Sue left with a huge smile on their faces and a holiday full of incredible memories. We want to thank them for helping us get off to a good start.
