Q.
How can we get a multi-day ticket?
A.
Furano’s multi-day lift tickets must be ordered along with your accommodation. Please place your booking for lift tickets when you confirm your accommodation with us. The ski resort does not sell multi-day tickets directly at the ticket offices.
Q.
Can we get multi-day kids or senior tickets?
A.
Yes, new in 2009-2010, Furano now offers multi-day tickets for children (up to age 12) and seniors (ages 60+). Seniors tickets are available for couples where either spouse is 60 or over. Please inquire for package rates with your accommodation.
Q.
How about rates for small children?
A.
Small children (4 and under) are allowed to ski for free. Please bring proof of age to the ticket office. We cannot issue multi-day tickets for small children.
Q.
How can we get a regular, single-day ticket or hourly tickets?
A.
Please purchase regular tickets from the Lift Ticket Offices throughout the resort. The closest office is located in the 2nd Floor of the Kitanomine Gondola Terminal. For regular ticket pricing and information, please see the
Furano Ski Area Official Website.
Q.
What kind of lift system does Furano use?
A.
Furano uses printed paper tickets, which must be shown to the lift operator. The ticket must be worn on your left shoulder, or presented clearly to the lift staff when getting on board a lift. If your jacket does not have a clear lift pass holder, we recommend using an armband holder. Fresh Powder Apartments provides a free armband for all staying guests. These may also be purchased from the lift offices for 100 yen each. There are no turnstiles and no deposit on the lift ticket - it may be disposed after use.
Q.
What if my lift ticket is lost?
A.
Furano Ski Resort does not have a replacement policy, and we are unable to refund or replace lost multi-day passes. We ask that all guests treat their lift pass carefully as it is very valuable.
Q.
Is it true that you could lose your lift pass for skiing out of bounds at Furano?
A.
Yes, Furano’s ski patrol has the right to revoke a lift pass from any skier or rider who they judge to present a danger to themselves, other skiers, or the environment. This includes all kinds of passes such as regular tickets, multi-day tickets, and season tickets. We ask that all guests comply with posted rules and boundaries. If you have any questions please ask the ski patrol or lift office staff.
