Airport ski shuttle buses operate a direct service from Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS) to the Furano Ski Resort throughout the ski season. Fresh Powder Apartments are perfectly located only 40 metres from the Naturwald Hotel bus stop, located just up the road from the Kitanomine Gondola. Bookings are essential on these bus companies as buses book out very quickly for the ski season and the companies will cancel a bus within 7 days of departure if it does not have any bookings on it for that particular day. Goodsports and Hokkaido Resort Liner operate a direct service from CTS International Airport. Customer service counters are conveniently located on the arrivals level of the airport with English speaking staff. The Chuo Bus company operates a year round service from the Sapporo train station to the #2 Bus Stop at the Furano train station. As the Furano train station is located ten minutes from Fresh powder please be sure to advise us in advance if you intend to use the Chou Bus service. Then our staff can gladly meet you upon arrival in Furano for a complimentary transfer to Fresh Powder.

The Lavender Go bus is an excellent service operating 10:00am to 7:00 pm ever hour. The convenient service provides connections from Asahikawa Airport directly to Furano. In summer the journey time is approximately one hour, whilst in winter you can add an extra 10 minutes onto the journey time to account for the snowy conditions. Typically the company runs a large size coach with ample storage for skis and luggage. We recommend you get off at the Naturwald Hotel, near the Kitanomine Gondola, only 40m from our front door. This bus service is one of the very few that do not require a booking in advance and payment can be made when exiting the bus.

Fresh Powder offers a complimentary bus booking service for all guests who have booked a stay with us. Ideally you can place the booking in conjunction with booking your stay with us using our online booking system. We strongly recommend booking your bus ticket well in advance as the buses can book out quickly or the service can be cancelled at the last minute if the bus company has no booking on a particular bus service.
