Fresh Powder Niseko's excellent location near the Hirafu Gondola means that you are not only first on the slopes, but you have an excellent selection of rental gear at your fingertips. Literally just across the street is Rhythm Snowsports Japan's original rental shop, providing an excellent selection of well-maintained gear as well as cheerful and knowledgeable English-speaking staff. With 6 seasons in Niseko, Rhythm offers local knowledge and gear tuned and maintained to Niseko's unique conditions. Advance bookings can be paid in Australian Dollar rates. Also in town is the Demo Rental, who use only Japanese-sourced gear, located on the main strip Hirafu Street. Please browse below for more details.
Rhythm Snowsports offers everything from the new powder-specific reverse side cut, reverse camber, K2 Hell Bents to the classic all round Recon and everything in between. On the snowboard side they offer a MASSIVE range of boards, bindings, and boots. Such a wide selection means that visitors will have the best chance of finding the perfect ski or snowboard for every snow condition. You can even browse through the available gear on the Rhythm Snowsports Japan website, and pre-book gear to secure availability. Flexible upgrading / swapping policy and wax service means that you will always have the best gear for the current conditions, whether you’re doing some serious carving or diving deep into the back bowls. Advance online bookings can be paid in Australian Dollars, allowing you to save on the exchange rates if you book early.

Demo Ski Hire
Demo's computerized ski rental procedure has been streamlined to treat customers to a 20 minute turnaround for ski hire. They pride themselves on finding the perfect hire solution for each customer by adding the little touches such as providing specially designed wax for Niseko at no extra charge. Demo offers both mid-range and 'demo' skis from K2 and Rossignol for adults as well as a complete range of ski boot sizes. Kids have a full range of skis and boots available, including some kids specific 'demo' skis for the powder. For snowboarders they offer Burton and K2 'demo' boards, as well as the Burton 'Learn to Ride' range perfect for beginners and intermediates. Demo is open during winter from 8.30am to 8.30pm and it is situated next door to Fusion. Below are the prices for the 2008/09 season.
